After a two-month-long strike, MBC’s We Got Married is finally back on the air.
On June 5, a staff member of MBC said in an interview with Starnews, “We Got Married 3 is about to start shooting again. Because producers who were in charge of the show are on strike now, one of the head producers of the department will take over and continue the show. The two-couple system is likely to be kept.”
Actress Kang Sora’s agency also told Starnews, “Kang is about to join the shooting for We Got Married. Her shooting schedule has not been decided on yet because of other activities, but things will be arranged soon.”
The show stopped airing on the 14th of April, but it looks like it will be back on the air almost exactly two months after the stoppage. If things go according to MBC’s schedule for June, the show will start broadcasting again on June 16 at 5:15 p.m.
After all the already recorded episodes were broadcast, We Got Married was temporarily replaced by the cable channel MBC Music’s Music and Lyrics. Because of this replacement, there were misunderstandings that the program had folded.
