Super Junior members Eunhyuk and Donghae continue to take over Japan with duet song “Oppa Oppa”. After debuting #2 on Oricon Daily Chart last week, the duo’s Japanese single hasn’t died down and grabbed second place on Oricon Weekly Chart as well.
On April 10th, the new chart rankings showed that the Japanese version of “Oppa Oppa” had achieved second place for the week, just behind rock band B’z. In addition, the song also sat atop Tower Record’s Singles Chart last week.
With their record set on Oricon’s Weekly Chart, the firm said it is unusual for foreign artists, who released an album as a unit, to sit on the album and singles charts simultaneously.
Meanwhile, Donghae and Eunhyuk will be holding a fan meeting, titled “Premium Mini Live Event” on April 11 at Tokyo’s Shibuya AX Hall to commemorate the successful release.
