Super Junior’s sub-unit of Donghae and Eunhyuk is poised to advance into Japan with its hit digital single, “Oppa, Oppa,” which was released in Korea last year but now is ready to meet Japanese fans in April this year.
On February 12, Donghae tweeted a photo with the comment: “We’re shooting the new music video of ‘Oppa, Oppa.’ We’re coming to you!” In the photo, the two are forming a charismatic pose in big sunglasses.
“Oppa, Oppa” is a cheerful dance song with retro disco rhythm and beat based on humorous lyrics. The song was first revealed at the Super Show 4 held in November last year.
Keeping in step with the song at the concert last year led to Donghae and Eunhyuk displaying additional year-end performances. The new song is expected to create a huge sensation in Japan along with Super Junior’s upcoming Japanese concert.
As the Super Show 4 was held at the Kyosera Dome in Osaka in January, Super Junior attracted 80,000 fans. They are planning to stand on stage of the Tokyo Dome concert hall in May.
